Club History
The Durham City Rollers hockey club was set up by Bob Hitch and Alastair Ratcliffe after the demise of the Durham Wasps
ice hockey team at the end of the 1993/94 season. The idea at first was to keep kids in the area interested in hockey, albeit
on wheels instead of 1/8" blades of titanium. Now, the idea has taken off spectacularly and the club currently has over 60
active members of all ages. the club have been extremely successful in the years they have been around, at all age groups
and plan on being just as successful in the future!
